Blood donation dismissal

Turns out that little “iron level” test they give you when you first arrive to donate blood isn’t just a hoax. I was just about to confidently conclude this theory this morning when the little machine beeped and the man looked at me with pity in his eyes and said “I’m sorry, your iron is too low to donate today”. In case you’re wondering what then happens, you do still get the juice and donuts but not before being taken into the mini-room with a nurse who has a little “talk” with you.
